What is herd tracking? 

Herd tracking is like tracking the income and expenses of your accounting. Basically, efficient animals and things going well are considered income, while inefficient animals and things not going well are considered expenses. For animal husbandry enterprises to increase their profitability, they need to take all animals in the herd under control based on data. 

Without herd tracking, it is very difficult to determine the infertile animal among 200 animals. When we record animal matings and track pregnancies and births, we simply track the herd’s fertility. Our animal did not get pregnant from its first mating, we gave it a 2nd chance, pregnancy did not form again. In this case, we need to evaluate relationally together with past years’ records.
